Serdar Sümer

Serdar Sumer, who was born in 1973, has graduated from the Department of Business Administration of the Faculty of Political Sciences of the Ankara University, and obtained his master's degree in the College of William and Mary in Virginia, the United States of America, and obtained his Ph degree in the field of Banking from the Banking and Insurance Institute of the Marmara University. Mr. Sumer, who holds the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificates, has started his career as a Certified Auditor for Banks, and served as the Executive Vice President in charge of Capital Markets within the organization of Aktifbank during 2008-2014, and as the Member of the Board at the Tera Securities, of which he is a shareholder, within 2014. Mr. Sumer, who holds an experience of 19 years in the industry, has re-joined Aktifbank in 2015, and he has been serving as the CEO and as Member of the Board as of May of the said year.
