Orkun Güngör

Orkun Güngör is a seasoned finance professional with nearly 15 years of experience in financial auditing and consolidation. He began his career at KPMG Turkey in 2013, where he served as an Audit Manager for over six years. During this time, he audited the financial statements of leading companies across the manufacturing and financial services sectors, providing strategic solutions to complex business challenges. His client portfolio included global and local firms such as Cargill, Tahincioğlu, İş GYO, Mapfre Asistencia Turkey, ING, and Morgan Stanley. Since 2019, he has been serving as the Subsidiaries Consolidation Director at Aktif Bank, where he oversees the financial consolidation processes of the bank’s subsidiaries. In this role, he ensures financial accuracy, consistency in reporting, and compliance with regulatory standards. His deep expertise in IFRS, audit practices, and accounting plays a critical role in supporting the financial integrity and sustainability of the group. Orkun holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (English) from Istanbul University and is proficient in English at a professional working level.
